Tiny Living Tales

Finding a home
The series features a little girl living inside an old computer who one day jumps out of the screen to leave the virtual world behind and enter the real world. She finds a new home with a teddy bear. When people move to a new city or country for education, career, or other changes in life, they often find themselves in a foreign environment. Where is home now? Amidst the ebb and flow of life's transitions, where does one establish and preserve emotional connections? The teddy bear can be seen as an emotional anchor, a source of comfort during introspective moments during which we open up to ourselves.

Office- The contemporary assembly line
In 2020 covid pandemic put a halt on commuting to offices. It provoked me to reflect on the modern office buildings, often similar in structure- countless cubicles stacked on top of one another that engulf millions of souls inside. I built the empty cubicles out of tiny volumetric pixel (each a cube) to render the familiar yet uncanny spaces, a relic of the industrial revolution.

Urban Oasis- Convenience Store Part I
A convenience store is like an urban oasis. A place to take a break. To enjoy and refuel, amid all the incessant urban demands and chaos. Glittering and soothing for a few $. Lots of people in the supply chains— farmers, manufacturers, logistics, marketing, shop staff, even accountants work together behind the scenes for it just to exist.
